Naming a machine
We wanted a name that says what the company does, in a word people in Malaysia already know.
Jentera is the Malay word for a machine, and for a wheel. It comes from the Sanskrit yantra: an instrument that does work. We dropped one letter and kept the idea. Say it JEN-tra.
The name fits the work. Jentra builds AI agents and software that take slow, repeated jobs off a team. A good machine does its job every day, and nobody has to watch it.
The wordmark
The logo is the name in lowercase. Two details make it ours.
- The j is redrawn. Its hook turns through a quarter circle, like a drive belt, and ends in a flat cut.
- The dot on the j is a light. It is a perfect circle, slightly larger than the font’s own dot. It is gold on dark grounds and blue on white.
That light is the one thing in the brand that glows. It is the node of every drawing on this site and the status light in our software: solid when an agent is running, breathing while it works, blinking when it needs a person.
What we left out
No tagline. The logo sits beside one plain sentence: Jentra modernises how you work. AI agents, software, and private AI infrastructure.
