Terms for training and this website

These terms cover the training Jentra sells and the use of jentra.my. A group or organisation also signs a training agreement, which carries the same terms.

2. 02

   Prices

   Prices on the Training page are in RM and are fixed. Jentra is not registered for SST, so no SST is added. A quotation is valid for 30 days.

3. 03

   Booking for one person

   • The first consultation is free.
   • A deposit of RM 50 holds one lesson, and a deposit of at least RM 400 holds the 10-lesson module. You pay for each lesson by bank transfer.
   • A lesson moved with 24 hours of notice costs nothing. A lesson missed, or cancelled with less notice, counts as taken.
   • The module deposit is refunded in full if you cancel at least 7 days before lesson 1. After that, it can move to another person or another start date within 3 months.

   Groups and organisations

   • Each trainer takes up to 10 people on AI Power User, up to 8 on AI-Assisted Development, and 5 to 20 on AI Basics. A larger group splits into cohorts, or we add a trainer.
   • You pay 50% before lesson 1 and the rest after lesson 5, or all of it before lesson 1. AI Basics is paid in full before the session.
   • If you cancel before lesson 1, we refund all of it with 14 days of notice or more, and half with 7 to 13 days. With less than 7 days, we keep the payment, and you may move the start date once, within 3 months.
   • No refund is given for lessons already run. You may stop after lesson 5 and skip the second payment.

   Intensives

   • An intensive teaches the same syllabus as the 10 lessons, at the same price per person. Groups of 5 or more get 15% off.
   • An intensive has 2 days in person, with 8 teaching hours a day. Meal, prayer and tea breaks do not count as teaching hours.
   • A 2-hour online setup session comes before day 1. The one-weekend intensive also has a 1-hour online check 2 weeks after day 2.
   • Jentra books the training room, with food included. You pay the venue's price, up to RM 100 per person a day. The price is usually RM 80 to RM 100. Jentra pays any amount above RM 100. If the training takes place in your own room, you pay nothing for the room, and Jentra provides no food.
   • You pay in full before the setup session.
   • The group cancellation rule above applies, counted to day 1. If the venue refunds the room hire to Jentra, we pass that refund to you.
   • The 24-hour rule for moving a lesson does not apply to an intensive. We can change the date of an intensive day if the venue agrees to the new date. You pay any fee the venue charges for the change.
   • We do not refund a day you miss.
6. 06

   Refunds

   We pay each refund by bank transfer within 14 days of your cancellation notice.

7. 07

   Travel

   Online lessons and in-person lessons in the Klang Valley have no travel charge. Outside the Klang Valley, mileage is RM 0.80 a km from Batu Caves, plus tolls and parking. An overnight stay adds the fare and the hotel at cost.

8. 08

   AI Basics public sessions

   We refund your fee in full up to 7 days before the session. After that, your place can move to another date or another person.

9. 09

   If we cancel

   We move the lesson or intensive day to a date you accept. If no date suits you, we refund it in full.

10. 10

    Events outside our control

    If illness, a natural disaster or a government order stops a lesson, we move it to a date you accept. If the course cannot continue within 3 months, we refund the lessons not run.

11. 11

    Certificates

    AI Power User and AI-Assisted Development give a certificate of completion when you attend at least 8 of the 10 lessons, or both days of an intensive, and finish the final piece of work. AI Basics gives a certificate of attendance. We send certificates as PDF files within 5 working days of the last lesson.

    Recordings and your data

    • We record an online lesson only when every person in it agrees first.
    • You may keep a recording for your own work. We delete our copy 90 days after your last lesson.
    • If we find a breach of your personal data, we tell you as soon as we can. Our privacy notice at jentra.my/privacy/ explains how we handle your data.
13. 13

    AI tools

    Lessons use AI tools run by other companies, such as Claude, Gemini and DeepSeek. You use them under their own terms. AI tools can give wrong answers, and we teach you to check them.

14. 14

    Liability

    We teach with reasonable skill and care. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

    This website

    The content of jentra.my belongs to Jentra. You may share links to it. Prices and dates can change, and the price in your quotation is the one that applies.

16. 16

    Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest update. Your booking follows the terms published on the day you booked.

17. 17

    Complaints and law

    • Send a complaint to hello@jentra.my. We reply within 2 working days.
    • If we cannot settle a dispute within 30 days, either side may take it to the courts of Malaysia. If you are a consumer, you may also take a claim to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia.
    • The laws of Malaysia apply to these terms.
